Working with influencers
Reaching out: Express why a good product audience fits with the influencer and address them by their first name – not their handle.
Work closely with your influencer and provide talking points and vision
Cost: Standard is a flat rate followed by commission (referral links or unique signup/promo codes for tracking)
Know the strengths of each platform and how content is fed to audiences
TikTok: hard to get back into someone's feed repeatedly, favors constant virality
Instagram and LinkedIn: once people follow you, you will show up in their feed – it requires investment in building your audience
Find your product audience fit and develop a long-term strategy. Invest in building a content brand and identity.
Overcome the zero likes hurdle by taking risks with your content and be consistent with posting. It can take 100+ videos to get your first viral video that will start the flywheel effect.
